Gluten-Free = Healthy?
Gluten-Free is a label you see a lot these days. It’s on food packages and restaurant menus. There are even entire grocery store aisles and sections dedicated to it. It has joined, fat-free, low-fat, sugar-free, and more… These labels are there to convince us that the food in the package is healthier for us than the unlabeled, regular versions. Most of the labels are misleading. So what’s the truth about this gluten-free thing? Are gluten-free foods healthier than the foods that have gluten?
