Healthy Cooking Demo At Positive Vibes Fitness

Cooking Healthy Meals Doesn’t Have To Be Difficult

As a fitness coaching center, yes we do exercise and promote the importance of moving. While it’s true that Americans need to move more – the main cause of the obesity problem in America has more to do with what we eat than the lack of exercise. So we really stress the importance of eating and improving peoples’ dysfunctional relationship with food. So as part of our educational workshop program, we created our 15-Minute Meals: Healthy Cooking Demonstration.

One way that we can improve our diets and make sure that we know what we’re eating is to prepare our meals ourselves, in our homes. But! Everyone is so busy. The first reason we hear all the time is “I don’t have time to cook”. Our response to that is… you can cook a healthy, great-tasting meal that takes you 15 minutes or less. During our demonstration, our resident Chef, Di’Jon cooks 3 complete meals in less than an hour. Now how’s that for not having time.
